About this study guide

Modern Hebrew is written from right to left in its own script, and this material takes the time to make that feel natural. It presents each letter with its printed form, sound and final form where one exists, and explains the vowel marks that help beginners read unfamiliar words correctly.

Once you can sound out words, the guide introduces greetings, numbers, family terms, food and phrases for everyday situations. You will also read about the three-letter root system, masculine and feminine forms, and the present tense, with example sentences written in Hebrew script and a transliteration to support your reading.

Arranged across four levels, from Beginner through to Expert, the content lets you progress steadily and return to the alphabet or earlier grammar whenever you want to review.
Each level is unlocked separately
