About this study guide

Many beginners are surprised by how quickly Hangul can be learned. This material devotes its opening pages to the alphabet, explaining each consonant and vowel, the way they stack into syllable blocks, and the sound changes that happen when syllables meet. With the script in hand, reading Korean words becomes a practical skill rather than a puzzle.

Next comes the structure of the sentence. You will read clear explanations of topic and subject particles, the subject-object-verb order, and the polite verb endings used with people you do not know well. Vocabulary sets cover numbers, both native Korean and Sino-Korean, as well as time, food, shopping and family, each illustrated with natural example sentences.

Four levels, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert, give the material a clear shape, so you always know where you are and what comes next.
